When Couples Grow Distant

Many couples become disconnected, not because they stop loving eachother, but because their needs go unspoken.

For example, a wife at home raising children full time longs for affection from her husband but she feels guilty asking anything from her husband who is exhausted from working over time every day.

Meanwhile, the husband assumes his wife’s distance means she’s fallen out of love for him.

The result is two lonely people needing the same thing which is love and affection from each other.

The key is communication, learning to express needs without guilt, and recognising both partners are giving love in different ways.

When couples share honestly, intimacy and closeness can be built.

If you are needing support connecting with eachother, I can help you with the tools to communicate and connect.
