Respect in Relationships

Relationships need respect.

Without respect the relationship will fall apart and the couple will not care about each other.

There will be distance between them and conflict. Both people will not feel heard.

The relationship will be absent of any physical or emotional connection.

What does disrespect look like?

Swearing at your partner.

Yelling/screaming.

Name calling.

Verbal abuse.

Psychological abuse.

Being short with each other.

Not including each other in their day to day routine.

No communication.

Contempt for one another.

Each person puts their own needs first. There is no consideration.

If your relationship is like this, there is still hope when both people are willing to own behaviour through self-reflection.

I can give both people the tools to take home to cultivate healthy communication and self-reflection.

It is important that each person feels heard, validated and seen.
