Narcissism in Relationships

Narcissism isn’t just one type as many believe.

Narcissism comes in many different forms.

Here are just four to start with.

Grandiose/Overt Narcissist.

This is the typical Narcissist who has an inflated ego. Needs lots of validation because of insecurities.

Inflated sense of importance and will only go after careers with a title with a well known and well respected company.

Lacks empathy.

Vulnerable/Covert.

Acts she and a victim to outsiders. Very personable. Has people feeling sorry for them. They are introverted and sensitive to criticism.

They still seek validation and they still lack empathy.

Communal Narcissism.

They are driven by admiration. This is why they can be heavily involved in their children’s school, sports team, community project etc.

They appear very empathetic and selfless.

Malgnant Narcissist.

These are the most dangerous.

They tend to show aggressive and violent behaviours.

They show antisocial behaviours, lack empathy and are very manipulative.
